Perhaps you'll be disappointed in the Mediterranean selections of the Glasgow culinary scene, but you may consider opening your heart and mind to new dishes and tastes in your new home. It will be what you make of it.. and who knows, perhaps you can do as we did.. meet other foodies who share your passion (and can cook) and you can get together on occasion and celebrate Italian cuisine. The Scots may feel equally out of place in Italy and have the same perceptions of the foods as you do for Scotland.. there is a rose in every thorn bush. Up to you to find them. Enjoy that Haggis
